Heather & James Engagment

This is a very special blog for me as the couple is my son James and my future daughter in law Heather. We decided to take an overnight trip to New York and get some street shots. I have always wanted to do this and now was my opportunity. James is more of a private person and Heather makes up for it with her contagious smile. You will see what I mean in the photographs. Her smile lights up the room. I love her and I am so happy to welcome her into our family. They love each other deeply and it shows, they are a match made in Heaven. They really compliment each other. We are blessed to have her in our family. I have to say the weekend was wonderful and the weather was perfect, I have never shot an engagement session in the city so this was a fantastic opportunity. I felt a little like the paparazzi most of the time. (LOL) James and Heather must of felt like they had a stalker at times but they did an excellent job at pretending to be alone even if there was thousands of people everywhere. Central park was packed full of people and finding little nooks to get some shots alone was a challenge but I think we did pretty good. I love how they came out and this gave me an opportunity to get creative with editing and my camera. Take a look at the blog and enjoy.
Grand Central Station, we had some fun here, looks like we trespassed a little and my husband almost got arrested none of us can read apparently. It was a little comical.

A little vintage editing. I like it.
On our way to Staten Island via the Ferry. This is a nice way to relax and site see and best of all it is Free.

Off to Battery Park to take a stroll and get a portrait drawn.
Time for a stroll through My favorite place Central Park.

Well this is just the beginning of a great love story stay tuned to see whats next for them. Thanks for visiting and take a look at my webpage to see more.
